Reno Portraits

I recently visited my friend Magali's beautiful Reno penthouse to borrow some portraits I painted.  It was the first time I had seen the portraits hung in her home.  As you can see they look amazing where she placed them.  I'm teaching a portraiture class at Western Nevada College and I wanted my students to see some of the portraits I have painted from live models.  I painted these portraits from life at the weekly Reno Portrait Society painting sessions which are held at Nevada Fine Arts on Wednesdays at 9am.  Most of these were painted soon after I moved to Nevada.  It is interesting to revisit them now that I am about to leave Nevada.  I can't imagine them hanging anywhere else!

I apologize for the reflections in the images - my higher quality images of these paintings are on my computer that is already in Alabama.
